“The Lord God hath given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary. He wakeneth morning by morning; He wakeneth Mine ear to hear as the learned. Isaiah 50:4
There is learning that comes from man and there is learning that comes from the Spirit of God. The first kind of learning is passed on through books, memorizing, mentoring, practical applied science and good old trial and error. This kind of learning has been injected into the body of Christ through theology. It is where we get systematic theology. The mind of man is taxed through studies of other men, concerning the scriptures. In this WAY knowledge is gain. These places of higher learning are not the WAY the Spirit of God has used those who wrote the scriptures. Neither is it the WAY he opens our understanding of the scriptures. It is the spirit of Jesus Christ that gives illumination and revelation of what we read in the scriptures. It is not systematic theology. If it were true everyone would be dependent on reading systematic theology to understand the bible. We understand the scriptures by way of the Spirit that discloses and unfold it. He brings light to our minds to begin to SEE. He then works it out in our lives as living epistles. We advance or fall back given our walk in the spirit. I have called it the AUG, approved unto God. The lesson will last us our lifetime. The teacher will bring us as far as we will allow him to go. When God opens your eyes get ready for change. He is always working in our lives to reveal Christ in us, to us. It is the WAY of the Spirit.
